Specimen Stability

24 hours room temp, 5 days refrigerated (if free of cells)

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)

Icteric: >40 mg/dL bilirubin, Hemolysis: >500 mg/dL Hemoglobin, Lipemia: >700 mg/dL triglycerides
