Limitations
Specimens over 24hours old may display neutorphils with morphologic changes due to autolysis, making recognition of cell type difficult.

Clinical Significance
The presence of urinary eosinophils is primarily associated with drug-induced interstitial nephritis; however, small
numbers of eosinophils may be seen with urinary tract infection and renal transplant rejection.
