Clinical Significance
Low levels of hLH and
hFSH may indicate pituitary failure while elevated hLH and hFSH levels along with decreased levels of gonadal
steroids may indicate gonadal failure (menopause, ovariectomy, premature ovarian syndrome, Turner’s Syndrome)
