4.5 ml (4.5 ml minimum) K2EDTA (tan); alternate-K3EDTA (lavender) blood for each tube


Minimum Volume
1 ml (500 ul minimum) plasma for each timed collection


Instructions
When patient arrives in PREOP, pick up collection kit with complete instructions from the laboratory. A total of 4 specimens collected: Baseline, Prior to Excision, 5 mins and 10 mins Post Excision


Specimen Stability
Separated from cells: 8 hours room temp, 72 hours refrigerated


Methodology
Chemiluminometric, Direct

Setup Schedule
Monday-Friday, notifying chemistry at least 1 day prior to procedure

15-80 pg/mL
