Instructions
"Cord Blood" must be stamped or written on specimens labeled with the Mother's label. Special Blood Bank Identification process is NOT required for Cord Blood.
Report Available
No testing is performed until Cord Blood Order is placed. Sample can be used for 10 days following collection. For add on DAT testing, testing should be performed within 48 hours of sample collection. When sample is greater than 48 hours old, a result comment is added to result to state sample exceeds recommended age.
