Instructions

Timing is crucial for collection. When solution or medication is received on unit arrange baseline or fasting collection time with RN. Ingestion, infusion or injection must be done within 30 minutes after baseline/fasting specimen collection. Subsequent order time begins after ingestion, infusion or injection is complete. Lab to order the specified time collections requested.
