Preferred Specimen
An identification band must be on the body. A properly completed Record of Death must accompany body. Body should be placed in a body bag prior to delivery to the Morgue.
Instructions
Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Any case over which the Medical Examiner has jurisdiction. A body that does not have an appropriate identification band cannot be released to the mortuary. · Patient's valuables should not be sent to the Morgue with the body.
