Preferred Specimen
1 mL plasma for each timed specimen
Instructions
Specimen is collected prior to administration of 75g oral glucose beverage (fasting) and then at 1, 2, and 3 hours after beverage is consumed by patient. Note: Dosage may be different for pregnant or pediatric patients. This dosage is for patients at least 17 years of age. Be sure to use appropriate "timed" label for each representative sample.
