Preferred Specimen
1 mL plasma in grey top tube, collected without tourniquet (if possible) and placed immediately on ice.


Instructions
Should be submitted on ice and sent to lab ASAP. Centrifuge as soon as possible; preferably within 15 minutes of collection.
