Message
Draw blood in a lavender-top (EDTA) tube(s). Place specimen on wet ice, and deliver 4 mL of EDTA whole blood to laboratory immediately. If test is not performed within 3 hours of draw, spin down and and send EDTA plasma frozen in plastic vial.
