Softlab: ROTEM, ROTMM, and RTIME
MessageViscoelastic testing can be useful in multiple settings where there is a need to measure the clotting process, beginning with fibrin formation through the lysis of the clot. The assays analyze the viscoeleastic properties of whole blood samples under low-shear conditions and display results both graphically and numerically. One of the avalible platforms we have is Rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM).
ROTEM is proven effective in managing coagulation when multiple factor deficiencies are involved, as for perioperative and trauma patients who often require transfusion of multiple components and factor concentrates.
