Instructions
Unpreserved urine should be refrigerated immediately and analyzed within 1 week of collection.

Acceptable preservatives include: Trace metal-free hydrochloric acid or nitric acid (0.1 mL of 12M acid/10 mL urine)
Avoid exposure to gadolinium-based contrast media for 48 hours prior to sample collection.
