Clinical Significance
IBD Precis™ is a serological aid in the identification, classification, and clinical assessment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). This test helps healthcare providers distinguish IBD from non-IBD and differentiate Chron's disease (CD) from ulcerative colitis (UC). In addition, the test offers insights into colonic involvement and/or risk of complications to support early diagnosis and risk stratification through a comprehensive, non-invasive blood test. Biomarkers are assessed using multiple technology platforms including ELISA, chemiluminescence, and indirect immunofluorescence, intergrated with DNase sensitivity analysis.
