3 mL plasma collected in each of two separate EDTA (lavender-top) tubes


Instructions

Collect on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Testing requires a dedicated collection tube. All collection tubes need to be processed within six hours of collection. Centrifuge for 20 minutes at 800-1600 x g. Separate plasma into sterile tube. Specimen should be accompanied by the UIDL requisition.

Samples must be shipped Priority overnight on courier service.
