Instructions
Patients should be 18 years of age or greater.
Gently invert specimen 5 times (DO NOT SHAKE!), allow to clot for 30 -60 min at room temperature, centrifuge 10 minutes.
Separate serum into 3 amber plastic transport tubes:
1 mL (0.5 mL min) for Vitamin A and E, protect from light, ship frozen (can be refrigerated).
1 mL (0.5 mL min) for Vitamin C, freeze immediately, protect from light, ship frozen.
1 mL (0.5 mL min) for CoQ10, protect from light, ship refrigerated. Do not ship on dry ice.
Vitamin C must be shipped on dry ice.
