MessageNOTE: Fecal specimens on any one patient should not be sent to the laboratory more than once in a 24 hour period, unless requested by the physician. If more than 1 specimen is collected in a 24 hour period, the specimens will be combined and treated as 1 specimen in a SAF vial.
