Patient Preparation
Avoid exposure to gadolinium or iodine based contrast media for 96 hours prior to sample collection. Do not use disinfectants containing iodine, such as Betadine®, durine venipuncture.

Promptly centrifuge and separate serum or plasma into a deionized water rinsed plastic screw-capped vial using approved guidelines
