Any source except blood, fluid, genital, respiratory, stool or urine.
Instructions
Collect specimen aseptically; transport in a sterile container or dual culturette swab. Avoid swab collections when possible for swabs absorb the specimen and severely reduce specimen volume for culture.

Clinical Significance
The significance of any isolate, in pure or mixed culture, must be assessed with respect to the source cultured, the organisms pathogenic potential, the possibility of colonization versus infection, and the number of other organisms recovered from the same culture.
