Reference Range
Very few, if any, stained droplets per high power field of neutral fats. Less than 100 tiny stained droplets per high power field of fatty acids.
Clinical Significance
Steatorrhea is the pathological increase of Fecal Fat. Steatorrhea is a major sign of general malabsorption.
