Clinical Significance
Cryoglobulin complexes lodge in vessel walls and fix fibrinogen and complement causing a vasculitis. These may occur in systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, other autoimmune diseases, and monoclonal gammopathies.
