Methodology
Colorimetric (Uric Acid), Multibead Assay (FANA Profile), and Westergren (ESR)
Setup Schedule
Daily upon receipt for all tests except FANA Profile.
For FANA Profile: Screens are started daily at 8:00 am; Titers are started Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Report Available
Upon completion of analysis; FANA screens and titers - available by 3:00 pm
Limitations
Pathologically high levels of IgG (>2500 mg/dL) may interfere with quantitation of RF.
