Clinical Significance
The determination of allergen-specific IgE Antibodies is a very sensitive first-order test for a allergic disease. The presence of IgE Antibodies to crayfish is highly predictive of the likelihood that the individual will exhibit immediate hypersensitivity upon exposure to the allergen.
