Clearly mark time drawn on all tubes. This assay is not recommended when patient is receiving prednisone/prednisolone therapy due to cross reactivity with the antibody used in this assay. Collect 1 mL serum for each timed sample from a red top no additive tube or SST, place in separate sterile, plastic screw top vials and ship room temperature.
