Instructions
Samples suspected to contain macroglobulins or cryoglobulins should be drawn and held at 37°C. Samples suspected to contain cold agglutinins are not to be refrigerated prior to serum and clot separation. Serum should be separated immediately from clot and shipped refrigerated (cold packs).

Specimen requirements: 2 mL serum from a red-top tube (preferred), shipped in a sterile, screw-capped vial

Clinical Significance
This panel assists in differentiating celiac disease from other inflammatory bowel diseases and helps avoid progression of celiac disease, particularly in children, through early identification of gluten sensitivity.
