Reflex Criteria: If HIV-1/2 Ab screen is Reactive or Indeterminate, this test will reflex to Donor, HIV-1 Western Blot for confirmation at an additional charge (CPT: 86689).
If HIV-1 Western Blot is Negative, Indeterminate, or Uninterpretable, this test will reflex to Donor, HIV-2 Antibody for confirmation at an additional charge (CPT: 86702).
If HIV-2 Ab is Reactive or Indeterminate, this test will reflex to Donor, HIV-2 Immunoblot performed by Focus Technologies at an additional charge (CPT: 86689).
