Instructions
Blood Collection:
1. Collect blood for serum on Red Top/Serum-Separator Tube (plain, no additive).
2. Let the blood clot at room temperature for at least 60 minutes. Centrifuge for 15 minutes; Transfer only the serum (upper liquid) to a separate plastic tube (aliquot tube).
3. Please be sure to identify the serum tube properly with patient's name, DOB, date and time of draw.
4. If a centrifuge is not available, the original blood collection tube can be shipped to us, provided that it is properly sealed and insulated from damage.
