Clinical Significance
Sertraline (Zoloft® ) is a psychiatric drug indicated for the treatment of major depression and obsessive-compulsive disorders. Its clinical efficacy is similar to that of the traditional antidepressants but are thought to be mediated through inhibition of serotonin reuptake in the brain.
