Specimen viability decreases during transit. Send specimen to testing laboratory for viability determination. Do not freeze. Do not reject.

Clinical Significance
This test is for patients with suspected lymphoma. Cells from the lymph node biopsy are cultured to obtain mitotically active cells for chromosome analysis. Disease specific mitogens may be used if specimen permits.
