Clinical Significance
Some proteins present in wheat extract (f4) cross-react with grass pollen. Positive results with Phl p 12 (g212), a Timothy grass pollen protein, support this interpretation, especially if the sample is negative for IgE antibodies to Tri a 14 (f433), a protein with little or no cross-reactivity with grass pollen.
