Clinical Significance

Detect fetal exposure to Fentanyl

Methodology: Initial presumptive testing by immunoassay at a testing threshold of 2 ng/gm. Presumptive positives confirmed by definitive liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS-MS).
