Instructions
2-3 mL peripheral blood (1-2 mL for infants). Sodium heparin (green top) tube. Sodium heparin preferred, lithium heparin and EDTA accepted. Invert to mix. Amniotic fluid 2-5 mL, in addition to the ~1mL /week of gestational age (for chromosome analysis). Sterile tube.
