Instructions
Draw specimen at steady state reached approximately at 2 - 4 days.
Trough: Collect within an hour of the next dose.  Sample preferably before the AM dose.
Check level if dosing changed or if additional anticonvulsants are given. 
Centrifuge within 2 hours of collection
