2 - 8 oC: 5 days
When testing is complete, the urine specimen is frozen for 30 days pending request for further testing.

Measurements are used in the diagnosis and treatment of amphetamine use and overdose, and in the monitoring the presence of amphetamine to ensure appropriate therapy.
