Green Top (Sodium Heparin) is preferrable to prevent clotting.
Non gel red top collection tube or syringe (with no needle) are acceptable. 
EDTA (purple top) is NOT ACCEPTABLE

Specimen Stability
Perform within 4 hours of receipt when stored at room temperature. 
 


Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Sample will be rejected if collected in a Purple Top (EDTA)
