Minimum Volume
4, 2.7 mL sodium citrate tubes. Sample MUST be drawn to the minimum fill line on the tube or the sample will be rejected as QNS.


Instructions

4, 2.7 mL sodium citrate tubes. Do not place the specimen on ice.

Reject Criteria (Eg, hemolysis? Lipemia? Thaw/Other?)
Gross hemolysis, lipemia, QNS, clotted, platelet counts less then 100,000/µl, if the specimen is on ice, if the specimen is spun in a centrifuge.
