Reference Range
Reference Interval: 1.6 - 2.6 mg/dL
Critical Value: ≤ 1.1 mg/dL or ≥ 6.0mg/dL
Effective June 17, 2013, serum magnesium levels will be reported as mg/dL instead of mEq/L. To convert back to mEq/L, divide test result (in mg/dL) by 1.2.
