Setup Schedule
This assay is performed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week


Reference Range
0.6 - 1.3 mg/dL
Critical value: ≥ 10 mg/dL
Critical value will be called if no prior critical value has been reported within 48 hours or if the critical value increases by 2 mg/dL.


Clinical Significance
This test is used in the diagnosis and treatment of renal diseases and monitoring renal dialysis.  It is also used as a calculation of the glomerular filtration rate using the CKD-EPI equation.
