Setup Schedule
This assay is run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.


Reference Range
Adults (18 years old and older): < 200 mg/dL (Desirable)
                                              200 - 239 mg/dL (Borderline High)
                                              ≥ 240 mg/dL (High)

Children (2 - 17 years old): < 170 mg/dL (Desirable)
                                       170 - 199 mg/dL (Borderline High)
                                       ≥ 200 mg/dL (High) 


Clinical Significance
This test is used in the diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerotic coronary artery disease.  It is also used in the diagnosis of metabolic disorders involving lipids and lipoproteins.
