Instructions
If drawn with other coagulation assays: For up to 3 tests draw 1, 2.7 mL sodium citrate tubes.
For 4 or more coagulation tests, draw 2, 2.7 mL sodium citrate tubes.

Performed 2x /week, weekdays between 8-4 pm.
Limitations
Heparin (UF or LMW) up to 4 U/mL may interfere with assay. The AT value may be low due to the rapid clearance of AT-heparin complexes by the liver. It may be necessary to repeat the test when the patient has been off heparin for at least 7 days.
