Refrigerator Stability: 4 hours
Plasma is stable for 6 months frozen at -70 degrees C.

Gross hemolysis, QNS, clotted

If F-IX activity levels are greater than 25%, the assay will not be performed.

Clinical Significance


Patients with Hemophilia B may develop an inhibitor to Factor IX.
