Limitations
Hemoglobin F can be elevated in pregnancy.

0-3mo: 15-81%
3-6mo:  2.3- 56 %
6mo.-1yr:  0.8-4.9%
1-2 yrs:  0.7-2.1%
>2yrs:  0.4-2.0%


Clinical Significance
Performed as part of the Hemoglobinopathy Screen.
Elevated in infancy,  Sickle cell anemia,  beta thalassemia, and in HPFH.
