Preferred Specimen
10 ml of first morning voided urine (includes 4 mL of urine for confirmatory testing)


Minimum Volume
5 mL of urine (includes 4 mL of urine for confirmatory testing)


Instructions

4.0 mL of urine must be placed in a Urine Myoglobin Transport tube within one hour of collection in case of confirmatory testing.  Urine Myoglobin Transport tubes must be refrigerated.
