Clinical Significance
Measurement of thyroglobulin and thyroid peroxidase antibodies is useful in the diagnosis and management of a variety of thyroid disorders, including autoimmune thyroiditis, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, Graves' disease, certain types of goiter, and polyendocrine auto-immunopathies.
