1.0 ml plasma each draw


Instructions
Draw blood in a PST tube from a fasting patient (12-14 hours). Spin down and send 1.0 ml of plasma refrigerated. Give patient 75 mg of "glucola" to drink (100 mg if pregnant). Redraw patient at 1hr., 2hr. and 3hr. respectively in PST tubes. Spin tubes after each draw and send 1.0 ml. of plasma from each tube. Be sure to mark tubes with draw times.
