Instructions


Vaginal, perirectal 1. Do not use lubricant on speculum. 2.Cervical mucus should be removed before inserting the collection swab into the endocervical canal. 3. Insert the swab into the cervix, move swab from side-to-side, remove the swab and insert into the rectum. 4. Place swab into the transport tube. 5. Transport the specimen without delay. Note: Specimen source is required on request form for processing.
