1.0 mL urine


Instructions
1. Insert straight catheter and drain 1.0 mL of urine into a scre-capped, sterile container. 2. Label container with patient's full name, medical record number, date and actual time of collection, and type of specimen. 3. Maintain sterility and forward promptly. Note: Specimen source is required on request form for processing.

Screw-capped, sterile container


Transport Temperature
Refrigerated specimens stable for 12 hours.
