Instructions
Submit an entire 24-hour urine collection in a urine container supplied. No preservative. Send specimen refrigerated. Note: Starting and ending times of collection and total volume are required on request form for processing. See "Urine Collection" in "Special Instructions."

Reference Range
Average calcium intake diet: 0.05 - 0.4 g/24 hrs


Clinical Significance
Useful for determining the amount of calcium excreted in urine.
