EDTA Whole Blood
Note: If platelet clumps are noted on instrument results and smear a sodium citrate tube may be requested for result verification. In this instance the Platelet Count will not be reported but an estimate of normal, decreased or increased will be provided.


Instructions
Draw a full tube and send EDTA whole blood.
Stable at room temperature for 24 hours and at refrigerated temperature for 48 hours..
