Gray top tube (Potassium oxalate/sodium flouride)
Instructions
Draw blood in a grey-top (potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride) tube and send 0.5 mL of potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride whole blood refrigerated. Note: DO NOT use alcohol prep to cleanse skin. Use a NON-ALCOHOL GERMICIDE to cleanse the skin prior to venipuncture.
