Urinalysis with reflex to culture
MessageSRHC Clients:
Indicate whether specimen is voided or cathed.
Voided Urine: Instruct patient to clean externally then collect a mid-stream specimen by discarding the initial stream of urine and then void into the container.
Indicate type of cath: inout ; at insertion; indwelling (>1 day)
Transport urine at room temp to SRH lab in less than 2 hours or in less than 24 hours refrigerated.
